Fromage Frenzy

Roll across the racetrack as a wheel of cheese! Shred the competition as you race against five AI cheese wheels. Increase in size for more health and less speed, or shrink down and become fast but weak. Use the pickups across the track to help gain an advantage and go for gold across four tracks!

Thoughts from Development

My second Unity game, and the first game I have made as part of a team. I was one of two coders on the project, along with five artists and a designer. My contribution was the racing system itself and the UI implementation. I went a little insane figuring out the initial steps, but eventually, I managed to make a pretty solid Bézier Curve track system. I also made the system that managed the race itself, checking the positions of the racers and rubber-banding the AI accordingly. Concepting and implementing this system was thankfully not too stressful.
